Doxy PEP

Medical consultation regarding the use of post-exposure prophylaxis with the antibiotic doxycycline (Doxy PEP). During the consultation, the doctor will assess any contraindications to using Doxy PEP based on a short medical interview, and will send an information sheet describing its effectiveness, possible side effects, and instructions for use. If there are no contraindications, a prescription for doxycycline will be issued.

This service is intended for individuals who wish to reduce their risk of sexually transmitted infections (such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, or syphilis) after potential exposure.

Note: Doxy PEP does not replace regular STI screening or condom use.

NOTE! Before you purchase a consultation to start PrEP, make sure you have all the required tests (described below). As of April 2025, PrEP drugs are again available on the Polish market.

When you purchase a consultation, you receive:

  • Email with detailed information on PrEP and doxyPEP prophylaxis
  • The doctor will interpret your results and if he has no objections, he will prescribe you 1 pack of PrEP (patients continuing PrEP receive a prescription for 3-6 packs of drugs) and, on request, also for DoxyPEP.
  • Possibility to ask questions to the doctor in text form, or on request in the form of a telephone consultation.
  • Remember that you have the right to contact a doctor at every stage of the service.
